Essential Requirements: Previous private house experience, Fluent in French and English, driver.
A wonderful new opportunity has arisen for a highly experienced Gardener/Maintenance Person to run and manage a small estate. The successful candidate must speak good English and fluent French.
Requirements:
Strong credentials at previous Head Gardener level.
Knowledge of tools, equipment, and materials common to the trade.
Experience in horticulture, ideally supported by relevant qualification.
Supervisory experience of contractors
Excellent knowledge of plants and design of gardens
Knowledge of irrigation system, management and maintenance.
Ability to work alongside the owners, who contribute to design of the gardens and various projects.
Willing to care for Swimming Pool, keep all paths and patio areas clean.
High integrity and honesty in all dealings.
Full, clean driving license required.
Property sits on approximately 1.5 hectares of typically mediterranean gardens, including lawns and borders, hedges and trees. Newly purchased property and there will be lots of different projects taking place within the gardens.
SINGLE Accommodation can be provided, if required - initially shared, but to undergo full refurbishment in July to make self-contained modern apartments for Chef, Butler and Gardener.
