DAILY HOUSEKEEPER
Thirsk, North Yorkshire
40-45 hrs per week - 5days Monday to Friday
8/9am start – 4/5pm finish
Essential Requirements: Previous private house housekeeping/laundry experience, dog lover, friendly, flexibility to cover an odd weekend during the year and attention to detail, well presented, team player, driver with own car essential

A superb position for our long-term clients, working on a large Country Estate approx 4 miles from Thirsk, North Yorkshire. We are looking for a candidate ideally with previous private house experience who has excellent attention to detail, who is proactive, a team player and flexible. The current housekeeper of 8 yrs has recently been promoted to Housemanager but will work alongside the new housekeeper.

  • Daily cleaning to a high standard.
  • Presentation of the interior to high standards.
  • Care of specialist finishes – Marble, Wood, Granite
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen area ( no cooking)
  • Making beds and changing linens
  • Sorting, washing, unloading laundry – confident with delicates and handwashing.
  • Ironing
  • Controlling housekeeping supplies under the guidance of the Housemanager.
  • Shared walking of 2 medium size dogs within the estate.
  • Immediately report any repairs or replacements

Salary Negotiable depending on previous experience. 2 days off per week. Average 40-45 hrs per week. Start and finish times are flexible depending on individual needs. ASAP Start. Driver essential due to the location. (HU3924)
