FLUENT RUSSIAN SPEAKER ESSENTIAL
Essential Requirements: Previous private house experience, Fluent RUSSIAN with a good level of English essential and French a plus but not essential. Excellent Housekeeping and laundry skills, Strong Communication skills. Freedom to travel

An experienced head housekeeper is required for a private family of 4 at their residence in Monaco. You will report to the Housemanager and have overall responsibility for the cleanliness of the residence, supervising the housekeeping and laundry operation to ensure high standards are met.

You will be working closely with a full team of staff so it is essential that you are a team player and with flexibility to meet the needs of the household.

You will have a variety of duties including but not limited to:

  • Ensure high standards of cleanliness in all areas of the family residence.
  • Supervise and monitor, delegate and encourage responsibility to the housekeeping staff.
  • Daily management of 6 housekeepers and 2 laundry staff.
  • Duty Rota preparation to ensure cover over 7 days.
  • Provide hands on training and ensure the housekeepers have suitable equipment needed to perform their duties.
  • Regular inspection of all rooms to ensure furnishings, equipment, linens are all in good repair.
  • Reporting Faults, breakages and decommissions to the House Manager
  • Overseeing ordering, delivery, stock taking and storage of all household linens, cleaning materials, and bathroom items. Budget and cost control.
  • Care of fabrics, fine furniture and decorations.
  • Care of special objects, art, antiques, jewellery, etc.
  • Identify and recommend specific training needs of the housekeeping team.
  • Respond to the principal’s special requests, liaison with the Butler and Housemanager.
  • Promote teamwork and quality of service through daily communication with the household team.

This is a full-time position, working 5-days per week on a rota with flexibility. The family do spend time in Courchevel thus you must have the flexibility to travel. We require a self-sufficient, hardworking and diligent candidate for this position. Immediate start. Salary 4,000-4,500 Euros net per month (HU4001)
