EXPERIENCED RESIDENTIAL HOUSEKEEPER
Experienced country house housekeeper, required for a large rural farming and shooting estate in North East Scotland. Half way between Aberdeen and Inverness.

This is a family with adult children and grandchildren who visit from time to time.
The owners are not always in residence as they spend considerable time away. It is essential that the housekeeper is confident to oversee the residence in the owner’s absence.

The housekeeper will run and manage the house on a daily basis, which will include assisting and supervising the cleaning staff, handle family laundry and generally ensure that the house runs smoothly. This is large and sometimes a busy family home which does host private shoots during the season. The housekeeper will be required to meet and greet guests and help with table service. A cook is available for special occasions, but occasionally preparation of simple family food to help the lady of the house who usually cooks for the family would be appreciated, however emphasis should be on housekeeping skills and not cooking.

There is 1 working Labrador that is also the family pet. Estate and gardening team also employed.

Salary commensurate to experience. 3 bedroom self contained house which can either be furnished or unfurnished. Non smokers essential. Driving licence essential, a vehicle is always available. Partner and dog welcome. (HU2263)
