The role requires a passionate cook who actively enjoys Vegetarian and fish cookery, ideally can initiate new dishes and try new recipes. A kitchen garden provides fresh vegetables, fruits and salad items, so making chutneys, jams etc all part of the role. Meat is rarely served, unless for a dinner party.

A part time cleaner is also employed 3 days per week.
