During the Winter season, general tasks to be shared between the couple include:

  • Daily housekeeping, hoovering, dusting, cleaning bathrooms, making and changing beds.

An experienced Lady’s maid/Butler is required for a VIP lady in Saudi Arabia, with some travel.
Candidates should be qualified either by training or experience and be able to greet guests and provide confident and efficient food and beverage service to the lady and her guests, including all aspects of table settings and care of fine china, crystal and linens.

You must also be able to manage the lady's wardrobe, handle some personal laundry, ensure that cosmetics are kept in good condition and within expiry dates and all brushes are meticulously cleaned, pack and unpack clothing and accessories for travel, and carry out some personal assistant tasks, such as booking massages and beauty treatments, etc.

A salary which is negotiable c.£45,000 pa will be paid (tax free at source). Six day working week with some flexibility; one-month annual vacation with return ticket paid, medical insurance and accommodation. This is a live in position. (HU4040)

RESIDENTIAL PRIVATE CHEF

An exciting opportunity for an experienced senior chef to be based at a Private Estate in County Limerick, Ireland. This is a fully staffed property which includes housekeepers, Estate Manager, butler, PA as well as another chef. The property is home to a HNW couple with grown children who visit regularly. The family do travel on occasion and thus we do require a chef with flexibility to travel mainly in Europe and Ireland when required.

We require a chef with previous private house experience, who has excellent knowledge of menu design and cooking from family style/casual dining to fine dining.  You should have a passion for fresh and seasonal produce and ingredients along with excellent attention to detail.

Duties will include:

  • Management of the kitchen
  • Planning schedules in advance to ensure chef cover is in place 7 days a week when the owners are in residence. This planning is in conjunction with the second chef.
  • Preparing and cooking beautifully presented family style meals with occasional fine-dining and private dinners / parties.
  • Extensive menu development, creation, and planning 
  • Meal related budget management and shop to replenish food stocks as required, maintaining expiration dates.
  • Always maintaining meticulous standards of hygiene 
  • Using fresh, high-quality produce sourced locally and internationally. 
  • In addition to food preparation for the family, preparation of lunch for 15 staff members (Monday to Friday) who work in the main residence and offices.
  • Discussing the daily menu with the Butler / Family in advance.
  • Arranging additional kitchen staff for larger dinner functions / parties
  • Driving family members if butler is unavailable.

We require a professional candidate with a friendly approach and excellent communication skills. You should have impeccable health & safety and hygiene knowledge.

We are seeking an experienced Travelling Butler for a formal residence in Dubai. The successful applicant will be experienced with providing both formal and semi-formal food and beverage service for the family and their guests.

Candidates should enjoy keeping a clean and organized home. Have a strong understanding of household management and food and beverage service. You have a ‘do what it takes attitude’ and have a calm and collected approach when things don't go as planned. You are comfortable both in leadership roles and working with in a team.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Formal and semi-formal table setting, food and beverage service to Principals and guests
  • Event planning and facilitation
  • Greeting of guests and visitors, answering telephone, and taking messages, general mail and correspondence
  • Management of household inventories and implementation of organizational strategies
  • Care of the butler pantry including China, crystal and silver
  • Ensure all household mechanical systems, HVAC, plumbing, equipment and fixtures are in good working order
  • Schedule and supervise trades and contractors
  • Monitor household budgets and costs for trades and vendors
