An experienced travelling butler is required to work for UHNW principals both in their homes and whilst travelling.

BUTLER / HOUSEPERSON / DRIVER / PERSON FRIDAY
Experienced, full-time, live in person to work with an existing domestic couple and other household team members including a House Manager, Chef and Nanny.
The family consists of two principals, four children and a small dog.
The property is used for weekends, holidays and during Christmas.
Between you, the following responsibilities would be shared:
Heavy housekeeping such as changing lightbulbs, changing plugs and cleaning internal windows.
Cleaning outside areas/furniture
Household maintenance/handy person duties
Serving the family both informal & formal dinner settings
Driving the principals when required
Assisting with overseeing the contractors
Washing, laundry and ironing to a high standard
Maintaining inventories for housekeeping supplies
Assisting with chef with washing up, preparing light snacks, juices, and smoothies
Ad hoc tasks and errands as required
We need the kind of applicant who is willing to learn and be trained in this families likes and dislikes and a person that will work well in a small team, and who takes pride in their work.
A hardworking, “like to produce results,” hands on, person with a very good eye for detail, who is diligent and reliable. Able to use your initiative and a person who likes to contribute - striving for perfection.
A good level of both written and spoken English is essential as is driver who must be a very confident driver and ideally technically savvy too. DBS check will be required, with excellent references.

HEAD OF INTERIOR - BUTLER / CHIEF STEWARD – MULTILINGUAL 71M NEW BUILD YACHT
Essential Skills: Previous private yacht experience, expert butler and valeting skills, team management skills, organised, flexible.
A permanent position on board a 71 metre privately owned yacht for a multilingual Chief Steward/Butler/ Head of Interior. The yacht is currently in sea-trial stage.
Cruising is currently planned for the Mediterranean during 2022 and the Caribbean during 2022/2023. Thereafter, cruising schedules are to be arranged. The yacht will be able to accommodate 12 guests, including the Owners and their family.
The Owner has an exceptional global reputation and expects a very high standard of service at all times. The-best-of-the best. He is seeking a long-term professional relationship and is known to expect complete dedication and commitment.
We therefore seek an experienced person with expert skills in all butler and valeting duties. Formal butler training and a strong grasp of Mediterranean languages are preferred. The candidate will be knowledgeable in etiquette and protocol and have experience in the delivery of a discreet, confidential and unobtrusive service.
The yacht will house a collection of fine art, antiques and objects d’art and it is therefore imperative that the successful candidate be fully conversant in the care of these artefacts, fine silver, crystal, china, cigars and wine.
Our Captain is highly thought of in the yachting industry and will be bringing with him to the vessel an established team with which he has worked successfully for up to 15 years. The successful candidate will need to integrate seamlessly with the team on board.
As the head of Interior the candidate will have exceptional organisational and team management skills while also being able to assist the Captain and Chief Officer with some Purser related duties which will include cash and credit card accounts, crew administration and logistics, the maintenance of budgets, inventories, stock control records and provisioning.
The successful candidate will be a cooperative team player, somebody who is able to train junior staff and who takes pleasure in teaching by example with professionalism so that crew members with lesser skills can, with the correct assistance and encouragement, come to the forefront and shine. A team orientated mind set, cooperative nature and a positive ‘can do’ attitude are a must.
Compliance with a team structure and the Captain’s command, together with an ability to cooperate and complement the Head Chef and other department heads is fundamental, as is an ability to work harmoniously alongside all other crew members.

RESIDENTIAL BUTLER WITH TRAVEL
An energetic, hardworking and enthusiastic butler is required to join a well-established team at the main residence in Gloucestershire.
This role will require a candidate who has experience and the drive to succeed.
While the role will be based in Gloucestershire, there will be world-wide travel throughout the year, so essential you have the flexibility to travel as and when.
Duties will include

This is a wonderful role for a butler / valet to join a happy team providing first class table, F&B service and front of house skills and know how to take care of a cellar, fine glassware, china and objects d’art.
Candidates must have a superb personality and the ability to get on with existing members of long-term Staff. You will ideally have formal house experience and/or a butler training diploma.
This is not a management position, but for a butler with a totally hands-on approach and who has a great eye for detail, whilst at the same time being a team player and one who has a warm and friendly manner.
You will need to be technically minded and able to deal with high-tech systems including iPad’s, computers, smart phones, sophisticated phones, Sky boxes, Sling box and general computer systems etc. Ideally you will have a passion for these things and an in-depth knowledge of all functions and addition benefits of highly automated homes.
The vacancy includes travel from early November through May, where you will be employed in the owners’ other home in the Caribbean and Florida. There will also be additional travel to Europe, so freedom to travel is essential.
Full staff, all very long-term are employed in both households by these charming clients.
Candidates are required to be completely computer-literate, have a clean current driving license and a long-term work record in a similar role with excellent references is essential.
Salary 50-60,000 Euros Gross per annum (based on experience) together with accommodation. Team rota of working covering 2 shifts 06.30am to 3pm and 3pm to close of house. Start date ASAP (HU2091)
