You will be responsible for driving the principals as well as the children including school runs, shopping trips, airport runs, etc. You must be a confident and safe driver and knowledgeable with London roads.

You will be working alongside a team of chauffeurs so essential that you can work well as part of a team.

We are seeking an experienced Chauffeur/Fleet Manager, to drive a VIP Principal and care of a fleet of luxury vehicles, together with several smaller cars kept at the residence. The candidate should have high levels of staff management experience looking after a team of 6-7 staff members.
This is a part-residence household, where normal working hours are from 9.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday. However, flexibility is essential when the family are in residence for a few months annually. An ability to deal with the quieter, routine times and then step up to longer hours is essential.
The candidate should have an excellent knowledge of Central London and be able to get the principal, their guests and core team to functions and events in a timely and efficient manner.
This candidate will have previous high level/VIP chauffeuring experience and staff management skills, and superb manner. Lovely position in a rural village South of Stowmarket. This beautiful estate is newly refurbished and requires an experienced residential assistant estate manager to ensure the grounds are maintained to a very high standard. The owners are a mature couple – semi retired with no children. Most of the time only the principals will be in residence, but occasional guests will stay (on average once per month).
The main house is a Grade 2 listed -8-bedroom former rectory, with 2 guest cottages on site, an outdoor pool and tennis court in approx. 50 acres of paddocks, lawns, and formal gardens.
You will be required to assist with the overall security and day to day running of the estate. You should have a practical background with good hands-on maintenance skills and be capable of property maintenance and hard landscaping. Ideally with previous qualifications of a trade or with gardening knowledge and experience.
You will be required to clean and look after the cars and garden machinery, undertaking and arranging servicing, repairs etc. You will be working alongside a team of staff, so essential you are a team player. There will be some occasional driving duties for the principals including airport and station pickups, restaurants, etc.
