Our clients are seeking an experienced housekeeper to care for a beautiful Grade 11 listed manor house, used by the family mainly at weekends and some holidays.

The housekeeper will maintain the interior of the property to a very high standard of cleanliness and with a conscientious work ethic. You will be responsible for the laundry, washing and ironing and keeping the wardrobes in good order. You will be asked to assist with food preparation and cooking for the family when required.

The principals are mainly in residence at weekends, but not every weekend, sometimes just the 2 of them, but small family gatherings during holiday periods.

An excellent new position for a family of three based in Central Oxford.   We require an experienced private chef for this vacancy.  It is essential that you live within a commutable distance to Oxford City Centre as this role will require you to manage the preparation of the food at your home and then transport and do the “finish off” at the Principals’ residence.   You will be cooking for two adults, one toddler and a small team of staff.  The family enjoy a wide variety of cuisine ranging from traditional British to Asian.  They are health conscious and enjoy well-balanced family style meals.   There will be occasional dinner parties and guests.  This is an informal household with a team of staff already in situ, so essential that you are a team player.   General working week will be Monday-Friday 5pm-11pm, occasional weekends will be required.   The family do tend to travel frequently so flexibility will be key.   Driver with own car required. This is a large country house within its own estate and within easy access to London.  The family enjoys fresh healthy meals mainly based on Mediterranean style of eating to include lots of fresh vegetables, salads, fish, and meat. You will care for the kitchen in its entirety and have responsibility for provisioning and household shopping.  You will be required to be at the London residence as well usually once a week.  
Due to the location you do need to drive and have your own car.

Active, flexible, country loving couple required for large family home- a six-bedroom, six-bathroom property which is kept to immaculate standards.
The housekeeper will be required to run and manage this beautiful home on a day to day basis, which includes all hands on general household cleaning to a high standard, this will include the polishing and care of antique furniture, polishing silver and family laundry, shopping and fresh family cooking.
You will need to be organised, efficient and enjoy country life.
Partner will be required to care for 6 acres of grounds which includes pasture, lawns, and a small copse. There are 2 herbaceous borders, roses, hedges to trim and pruning. A horticulturist is not required, but a good maintenance/ hobby gardener who loves to maintain and keep the gardens neat and tidy. You will need to be able to drive a tractor and use machinery to top the paddocks etc. In addition, you should have good DIY, care for the outdoor swimming pool and deal with fence repairs. You will also care for the cars and be willing occasionally to undertake airport runs and station pickups.
A good sense of humour and a genuine love of dogs is essential. The family have a young Labrador who is exercised at both ends of the working day, one-hour morning and evening, this task can be shared between the couple.
Salary Negotiable depending on experience. Lovely 2 bedroom furnished cottage, no dependent children, or cats, but a well-behaved dog may be considered.
2 days off each week usually Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The house is busier at weekends than during the week as 2 grandchildren visit regularly.
This is a long-term position, requiring commitment and flexibility. Fluent English and ideally both to drive. Minimum 5 years’ experience in a domestic Country position preferred (HU2395)

Newly created position for an experienced domestic couple to run and manage this immaculate large country residence for a family of 5 which includes 3 school age children.

This is the primary family home of a young couple who will move in beginning December 2020. The property stands in a total of approx. 400 acres. Main gardening duties will be outsourced, and additional housekeeping/ childcare assistance will be employed to compliment the skills of the successful couple.

Main duties for the housekeeper will be an excellent standard of day to day housekeeping, which will include washing and ironing, cleaning, organisation of contractors, deliveries etc. Fresh healthy family cooking, shared with madam as she likes to cook, shopping, household provisioning and possibly assisting with childcare when needed.

Partner will be responsible for driving, care of the cars and general maintenance of the property. You will be required to assist with school, airport and station pickups, there will be some late evening driving if the principals are out for dinner, time off in lieu will be given.

Care of the grounds and gardens will be outsourced, but a helping hand with garden maintenance as time allows would be welcome.

The family have a pony and a dog, so animal lovers are essential and anyone with basic equine skills/knowledge much appreciated. You will be required to wear a simple uniform of polo shirt and chinos.

SALARY CIRCA £55,000 Gross per annum, 1 bedroom flat (500 sq. ft) all new and beautiful over the garages separate to the main house. 2 days off per week, flexible for some weekends.
