Long term position for a very experienced housekeeper who enjoys working with a young UHNW family. This is a family of four which includes 2 school age boys-- a full time nanny is employed. Both parents work full time so look for a housekeeper who really understands how a formal home runs. The previous housekeeper worked for the family for over 15 years prior to retiring. There is also a part time laundress 2 days per week and a personal assistant.
This is a large five storey home, with many stairs, so essential that you are fit and energetic, with previous long-term references and experience. It is essential that you have previous experience working in a HNW household and have experience of special finishes, cleaning and caring for silver, antiques and fine fabrics.
The average working day will be 10am -6pm but with a degree of flexibility. You must enjoy working with children. Flexibility, a happy disposition, good team player and being part of the family for the long term is essential.
Most important is a happy, flexible, energetic person, who takes pride in their work, with a good level of English looking for a long-term position. Simple uniform will be required.

ESTATE MANAGER & SENIOR HOUSEKEEPER
Exceptional first-class couple, required for this position in a rural village South of Stowmarket. This immaculate estate is newly refurbished and requires a very experienced, senior domestic couple to maintain and manage the house and grounds to a very high standard. A second couple will be employed who will report to you, but it is essential that you are both hands on to ensure 7 day per week cover between the 2 couples.
The owners are a mature couple – semi retired with no children. Most of the time only the principals will be in residence, but occasional guests will stay (on average once per month).
The main house is a Grade 2 listed -8-bedroom former rectory, with 2 guest cottages on site, an outdoor pool and tennis court in approx. 50 acres of paddocks, lawns, and formal gardens.
Whilst duties are separate the couple must work well together and have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in similar roles.
The housekeeper will be responsible for the day-to-day housekeeping function of the main house with servicing of the cottages as and when required. You will be able to delegate duties to the assistant housekeeper when recruited, but your duties will also include cleaning, bed changing, laundry, ironing, shoe cleaning, arrange dry cleaning, take deliveries, messages and oversee internal tradesmen. You should enjoy displaying cut flowers, working with the gardener to ensure good use of available flowers. You will need to arrange pantry and household supplies (principally online). Cooking is not essential to the role, but some prep/assistance may be required occasionally. Caterers will be available for any entertaining, but you will need to oversee this and assist with dinner parties and other events.
The Estate Manager will be responsible for the overall security and day to day running of the estate. You should have a practical background with good hands-on maintenance skills and be capable of property maintenance, but at the same time have the management skills to lead the team of 6.
You will be required when needed to clean and look after the cars and garden machinery, undertaking and arranging servicing, repairs etc. You will arrange external services i.e., window, pool, tennis court cleaning, maintain a stock of logs, lay fires, and fill log baskets, monitor oil and re-order, and manage domestic finances, place orders, and pay bills. You will manage and work with all staff on the estate (housekeeping and gardening) and any external contractors. Experience of overseeing building projects would be an advantage. There will be some occasional driving duties for the principals to and from airport- station pickups, restaurants etc.

Lovely Full-Time position for an experienced, flexible, sole senior housekeeper for a young International professional couple with one school-age child and nanny who usually visit the property at either weekends or school holidays.
This part-time residence has undergone an extensive renovation project to a very high standard and the housekeeper will maintain it, in a prepared state at all times.
Our clients are looking for a responsible, discreet and flexible candidate who will oversee and run the household alongside the house manager, chef and gardener; keeping it in immaculate condition at all times. You will work closely with the house manager when the family are in residence.
You will be responsible for liaising with gardeners, contractors, window cleaners, etc. Duties will include day to day housekeeping, occasional shopping and provisioning for the household. Laundry: you must have excellent laundry skills and be able to launder delicate fabrics, as well as excellent ironing skills and be able to fix a hem or sew a button, basic lady’s maid skills: wardrobe care and packing, floristry skills a plus.
This is a relatively informal, fun household, that offers an excellent work-life balance, but you will be required to wear a simple uniform. This will be a 5-day working week with 2 days off when the family is not in residence; when they are in residence you will be required to be flexible and adjust your working days and hours.
