Essential Requirements: Eager to learn with a can do attitude. Immaculate personal presentation, an interest in fashion and clothes a plus. Strong team player. Ideally with previous housekeeping and laundry experience. Keen interest in wardrobe management. Driver essential.

A flexible housekeeper/laundress is required to join an established team in a glorious formal home in Gloucestershire which is set within magnificent grounds.

The ideal candidate will be immaculately presented, hard-working, and a self-starter. You will be required to work with other long-term housekeeping staff, ensuring that work is carried out to the highest standards, and undertaking all housekeeping duties including cleaning, washing, and ironing, opening up the house in the morning, answering telephone calls and turning down of beds in the evening and assisting the lady of the house when she is in residence.
Previous experience not essential as all training will be conducted on the property, however it would be advantageous. Strong attention to detail and positive approach to work are essential.
In the long term you may be asked to travel with the principal on occasion.

You need to be dog friendly as occasionally you may be asked to walk the dogs around this very beautiful estate.

Working hours approx. 45-50 hrs 7am to 1pm and then 5pm to 8pm. Full staff employed, so essential that you are good team players.

Salary up to £40,000 Goss per annum, based on experience. 2 days free weekly, some weekend working will be required, working on a rota, an average of one weekend off per month.
Must be able to drive with your own car, as the location is rural. A pool car is available for any errands or work-related trips.
