Experienced, flexible, meticulous, and discreet housekeeper is required for a newly refurbished UHNW apartment in Kensington.
The principal travels frequently and hence a housekeeper who is self-sufficient and able to manage the day to day running of the apartment is required. Duties will include hands on cleaning, care of fine fabrics, antiques, fragile objects, silver and artwork, care and management of the wardrobes, laundry to a high standard and very occasional light simple cooking is a plus. Front of house and service skills are also required.
You will need to have good communication skills, be computer literate, be able to organise contractors, deliveries and make appointments and run errands on behalf of the principal.
There are 2 cats, who travel with the principal, so a cat lover is essential.
Daily working hours are flexible, longer daily hours and one weekend day when the principal is in residence, shorter hours, self-managed and time back taken she when she is not. You will need to be very well presented, be willing to wear a simple uniform and have the flexibility to work longer hours occasionally.
SALARY NEGOTIABLE DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE – Fluent English essential and French a big plus.
