GODALMING, SURREY HEAD HOUSEKEEPER
DAILY 8-4pm-- Monday to Friday.
With 8-5pm Monday to Saturday when the family are in residence, max 4 months of the year.
Essential Requirements – Previous experience in UHNW residence or 5 * Hotel. First class housekeeping skills with high attention to detail. Driver with own car. Flexible, ability to work longer hours and days when the principals are in residence. Smart and well presented. Strictly Non Smoker.

Beautiful part residence home of a wonderful family with grown up children, in Rural Surrey. They are looking for an experienced and professional, proactive housekeeper to join a small team.

Covering all aspects of housekeeping, from cleaning, laundry, wardrobe management, arranging flowers to running errands, general/food shopping, setting tables and assisting with the care of the family dog. The property is usually used no more than 4 months per year.

You will work alongside and supervise another housekeeper and report to the house manager, both of whom have been with the family long-term. Ideally you will have strong wardrobe management skills, reasonable computer skills to enable cataloguing and making inventories between seasonal wardrobes. There is no real cooking required but you should be able to follow a recipe to bake a cake, scones and make an English style afternoon tea which the principals enjoy when they arrive from Overseas.
Attention to detail is paramount and previous formal household or boutique hotel experience essential.
If the family is in residence (no more than 4 months per year) then you will need to work Saturdays and bank holidays, a day off in lieu will be given.

Salary Negotiable depending on previous experience - driver with own car required as this is a rural location. FLUENT ENGLISH ESSENTIAL with neat and well-groomed appearance. Strictly Non- Smoker. (HU3145)
