A highly recommended position for clients whose staff stay with them for many years. An experienced, dynamic, and forward thinking, flexible House Manager required to oversee and manage the smooth running of a fully staffed, large (9-10 bedroom) property in St. Tropez. There will be various tasks required for this position and thus we require a flexible, hands-on, self-sufficient candidate for the job. It is essential that you have a minimum of 5 years’ experience working in a similar capacity within a private residence. You should have strong managerial skills and the ability to communicate effectively. You will be responsible for ensuring the property is maintained to a very highly immaculate standard. Duties will include staff management, managing all administrative duties including budgets, inventory, expenses, scheduling, overseeing construction projects etc. There will also be hands on tasks, include service skills, front of house duties, occasional chauffeuring duties etc., thus essential you must be happy to work in both a managerial and hands-on capacity. Candidates should be energetic, loyal and trustworthy, with a “Can Do” attitude.
This is a part-residence that is used primarily during the summer months, by a high profile UHNW family of five. When in residence (Normally 3 months annually,) the hours will be longer, with time off in lieu. When the family are not in residence the role will be shorter hours. Driver essential. Non-smoker. Fluent English and French required. Minimum of 5 years in previous position required. Salary negotiable based on experience together with French Contract and various benefits.
