HOUSEKEEPER / LAUNDRESS
St Jean Cap Ferrat, South of France (6-month contract)
Essential Requirements: Previous Private House Experience (minimum of 5 years) English or German or Italian speaker, Non-smoker.
Full time 45 hrs per week
Monday to Friday, occasional weekend working required

 

We are looking for an experienced housekeeper /laundress with experience working in a UHNW residence. The role combines general housekeeping with laundry duties. High standards of cleaning and an excellent knowledge of fine and delicate fabrics and fragile linens with perfect ironing skills

  • Daily housekeeping duties working as part of the housekeeping team.
  • Laundering of personal clothes and home linens to include bedlinen, towels, table clothes and napkins.
  • Perfect ironing.
  • Basic sewing skills to manage minor repairs.
  • Assisting with packing and unpacking suitcase when the principal travel.
  • Ensure bags and jewellery are properly presented and protected.
  • Laundry for guests if requested.
  • Laundering of staff uniforms
  • Cleaning of the laundry room

Excellent Salary negotiable depending on experience.
Languages required either English, German or Italian to enable good communication with full staff and principal.
Minimum 5 years experiences as laundress/housekeeper in an exclusive private household.
Strictly Non-Smoker
Flexible and discreet with excellent personal presentation. This is a uniformed position.

The vacancy can be either live in or daily in South of France. Accommodation can be provided if required. This is an initial 6 month contract with a possibility to extend. (HU4017)
