SOUTH KENSINGTON, LONDON
LIVE-OUT DAILY HOUSEKEEPER
SOUTH KENSINGTON, LONDON
Occasional travel and flexible weekend working will be required.
Essential Requirements: Proactive very experienced high-end Housekeeper. Extremely flexible and willing to travel. Dog lover essential. Fluent English, confident sole charge housekeeping skills with a minimum of 3 yrs experience in a UHNW residence.
UHNW private clients are seeking a highly presentable, live-out Housekeeper for their newly renovated, high-end, semi-formal property in South Kensington. The home belongs to a young couple who frequently travel and their pet Alaskan Malamute dog. The property has 3 bedrooms, lots of open living and dining space, gym, terrace, and an area for entertainment.
Duties will include covering all housekeeping duties throughout the high-end home to ensure that the highest level of cleanliness across the property is always maintained.
This is a semi-formal household with the highest possible standards, so candidates must be proactive and have plenty of initiative.
Due to the clients’ frequent travel, it is essential that applicants are very experienced in packing and unpacking suitcases and managing luggage inventories.
It is important that applicants have at least 3 years’ experience in a similar role and are highly confident in their abilities and maintaining high standards. A strong command of English is essential as there will be interactions with the family, guests, and other staff.
The Housekeeper will also be required to work in the second residence (UK countryside) on request and travel with the family up to 3 times a year. The ideal candidate will be a dog lover, with experience caring for large breeds so they can carry out dog-related duties including daily walking and dog sitting.
Flexibility is crucial for this role, as when the principals are in town the Housekeeper may be required to work long days, up to 7 days per week; this will be balanced by periods of calm with days off and shorter working days when the residence is not actively occupied. As the principals’ travel plans are often scheduled in advance, the Housekeeper will be notified in advance as much as possible as to when they will be required to work more/less hours.
The ideal candidate will be immaculately presented, highly discreet, flexible, and a dog lover.
Working days & hours: Working days & hours will vary depending on the principals’ requirements and whether in or out of residence; To be discussed in more detail at Interview.
