SEASONAL RESIDENTIAL BUTLER / HEAD HOUSEKEEPER

Essential Requirements: Previous private house experience, staff management, front of house, confident driver, dog lover

Seeking an exceptional Butler for a season, live in at a privately owned residence, with fabulous gardens and extensive grounds, set high up in the mountains with ocean views.
The residence consists of a beautifully renovated main house with 3 guest houses. There are about 12 garden staff including a Head gardener, as well as a house manager and two housekeepers. Seasonal staff contracted in as extras as and when needed including a private chef.

The position is uniformed & hands-on, and while it is a more senior post with a focus on service, assisting the housekeepers in a hands-on manner is also required.
The ability to set up and serve a table is paramount with good attention to detail. The requirement to serve drinks and canapés as well as being attentive but discreet to their guests is also important.

You should have excellent Personal Assistant skills and be computer literate, able to submit recons at the end of the month in Excel to the accountant.
Ideally you must have a valid driver’s licence, own car is not required as there is a company car available for work related chores.
Being a dog lover is essential.
Negotiable salary with a 1-bedroom cottage on site included for the duration of the contract only – regret no dependents. STRICTLY NON-SMOKING POST. FULL BACKGROUND CHECK TO BE CARRIED OUT AND REFERENCES CHECKED. (HU3894)
