An excellent opportunity for an experienced Chef de Partie/Senior Chef de Partie to join a fully staffed corporate residence in Regents Park. The chef will work under the supervision of the long term head chef, organizing the day to day food operation, ensuring the highest possible standards of food production to the Principal and Guests. Duties will include: food preparation, managing storage and stock levels, menu planning, etc. In addition, you will be required to manage preparation, cooking and presentation of all food requirements by liaising with the Head Chef, using a “hands-on” approach to organize and present all food sometimes at short notice. You will need to be aware of the need to reduce waste and to use products and ingredients in a cost-effective way at all times. It is essential that you keep abreast of changing food trends. You must have previous experience either in a high quality dining hotel, restaurant or private house. We require a candidate with good interpersonal skills, good social skills to deal with people at the highest level; ability and experience to manage a small kitchen brigade, flexibility and excellent organizational skills. 5 day working week, flexible hours. Salary negotiable depending on experience, in the region of £35,000-£40,000 gross per annum. (HU3393)
