Newly created position for a flexible security and handyperson to assist the owners to run and manage this immaculate large country residence for a family of 5 which includes 3 school age children. The property stands in a total of approx 400acres.
The effective responsibilities are as follows:
1. General Security to the House and whole Estate.
2. House and estate maintenance. This is to include the following:
i. Lawn Cutting
ii. Hedge Cutting if possible
iii. Driveway and exterior sweeping,
iv. Gravel raking – leaf blowing
v. Dog walking
vi. General cleaning to all external areas, garages etc.
vii. Power washing to terraces etc.
viii. Car Cleaning and car admin such as servicing, tyre change etc.
ix. Driving for all family members. School runs for children, airport runs etc. Running errands and confident to drive 4x4 with horse trailer.
x. Handyperson activities, such as changing light bulbs, log collection and storage.
xi. Checking and receiving deliveries for packages and utilities
xii. Controlling access to and from the house for contractors
xiii. Rubbish control, such as putting out the bins weekly etc.
xiv. Ideally capable to assist with the horses, such as mucking out, feeding, turning out and bringing them in etc.
Salary in the region of £30-35,000 Gross depending on skills and experience. Beautiful one bedroom flat for sole use. Strictly Non Smoker, no pets and no dependants. Driver with clean licence essential. 2 flexible days off per week.

We are seeking a live out Estate/Household Manager with excellent staff management, administration, front of house and service skills and the ability to work closely alongside some very long-term employees, gaining knowledge in the running of this large VIP residence, setting up manuals, procedures, creating staff working descriptions and appraisals, keeping inventory and stock control records and suchlike.
As the Principal will not be in residence for more than 3 to 4 months of the year, flexibility when the family is in residence is needed, though normal working hours are 9.30am-5.30pm Monday to Friday.
When the Principal is not in residence, you will also be required to oversee the care of 2 or 3 other London residences.
Occasional formal and informal events may take place within the grounds of the residence, and you should be able to organise, plan and execute these to ensure the smooth running of the function.
All household technical care is dealt with by personnel in the Family Office, based in Mayfair.

Must have the ability to work alongside and manage 8-10 members of staff, assisting, training, and guiding as required. Previous longevity (ideally 6 years with one employer) working as an Estate Manager is required for this position.
