A newly created position for an experienced butler/chauffeur and personal assistant to join a small team of staff working for a private family of five including three young children (ages 3-8yrs) based at their main residence in Kensington. The family require a confident candidate with strong service skills, administrative skills, as well as a confident driver.

This is a varied role with a range of duties and responsibilities including:

  • Day to day butler duties, including table service, front of house, wardrobe management
  • Daily driving including school runs and errands.
  • Ensuring vehicles are maintained, MOT’s, insurance, clean and tidy, etc.
  • Overseeing and liaising with contractors
  • Managing household bills and accounts
  • Managing inventory and stock
  • Packing and unpacking

The family have another property in Surrey where you will occasionally be required to go as they are currently having household works done; thus, you will be required to oversee builders, contractors and gardeners when required.
Flexibility to travel would be a bonus but is not essential.

Our Monaco based gentleman client is seeking an experienced travelling valet & assistant to join his household. The successful candidate will be an integral part of the principal’s day-to-day life, providing assistance and support while performing a variety of duties.

The principal is not overly formal but has high expectations in terms of the level of professionalism displayed by those around him. The ideal candidate will be able to understand, and eventually anticipate, the principal's day to day requirements and communicate to others, as required, with the highest level of discretion and professionalism, whilst ensuring that all tasks are carried out as expected with minimal disruption.

Duties will include but not limited to:

  • Responsible for the organisation, care, and inventory of the principal's wardrobe.
  • Travelling with the principal, as required, to assist with packing, unpacking, other valet and personal assistant duties, and occasional chauffeur/driving duties.
  • Maintain the principal’s personal items such as books, files and papers in an organised manner.
  • Performing personal assistant duties such as running errands and shopping.
  • Front of house service which will include meeting and greeting the principal’s guests, with the same level of professionalism and discretion.
  • Coordinate with his UK based Personal Assistant to ensure the principal’s schedule is managed efficiently and arrange appointments and travel as and when required.
  • Coordinate with other household staff to ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of the households and a consistency in service is maintained.
  • Ensuring all cars are maintained, clean and ready for use (liaising with the family office)
  • Assisting with administrative duties as required

The position is based in Monaco with the principal also having residences in the UK and Switzerland. You will be required to travel with the principal throughout the year to his other residences as well as to North America. Travel to or on the principal’s yacht in other European locations may occasionally also be required.

The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of household protocols with the ability to provide high standard services. You will need to be flexible, proactive, resourceful, and easily adapt to last minute changes.

An experienced Assistant Director is required for a Family Office based in Monaco. Your primary responsibility will be to provide general administrative support to the Director, ensuring the smooth execution of the family’s private projects. Additionally, you will be responsible for handling administrative duties related to properties located in Monaco, London and Switzerland.

The ideal candidate is an individual who can effectively manage multiple tasks and possesses a strong sense of priorities. You should be capable of adapting to changing assignments and managing your time efficiently. The Key Responsibilities are:

HR

  • Oversee the HR function within the Family Office
  • Manage the recruitment process for household staff including permanent and/or temporary positions including interviewing the candidates.
  • Collaborate with the yacht Captain, if required, for the recruitment of crew
  • Provide necessary information to the accountant for monthly payroll preparation, payment of salaries and further dispatch of the pay slips to the employees.

Household Financial Management

  • Compile, forecast and monitor household budget.
  • Assist with general bookkeeping, including compiling receipts and spreadsheet entries, reconciling bank statements, payment of staff and property expenses.
  • Monitor credit card and cash balances, reporting discrepancies to the Director and liaise with third parties, such as banks and accountants, as necessary.

Property Administration:

  • Monitor insurance policies are updated and utilities are duly paid
  • Handle landlord relations, and leases-related paperwork
  • Dealing with service providers (deliveries, car service)
  • Handling regular post in Monaco, including collection from concierge, processing, and dispatching

You will liaise with the Principal's Personal Assistant regarding family travel and calendar to coordinate staff travel between residences. Previous administrative experience, preferably in a small Family Office serving a High Net Worth Individual (HNWI) or as a Personal Assistant (PA) to a HNWI. Fluent in English with conversational French. Remote working however you must be based in the South of France as you will be required to attend occasional meetings in Monaco or other European locations.
