To report to and assist the Lady of the house based in London SW1.
Must have experience working for a UHNW principal in London, a problem solver who can work independently and with a good network of established work contacts and suppliers. Also, somebody who has worked as a sole assistant in a family environment and not as part of a bigger team of PA’s.
Based in London, the position will be mainly Monday to Friday (generally office hours but some flexibility will be expected outside that, which will include some weekend cover.) You will work closely with the International Chief of Staff and also the Estate Manager who is based in Europe, therefore working on different time zones, hence the ability to be flexible in regards out of hours communications. Flexibility to travel would be welcomed, but the priority will always be to work in London.
Duties will include management of the Lady’s and children’s extremely busy calendars both social and business.
To be able to communicate with the individual children’s schools and teachers, both in London and Europe. 2 older children board in Europe, the youngest a day pupil in London.
Arranging appointments including doctors, dentists and ensure medical records are kept up to date.
Experienced with making travel arrangements for the whole family and their staff.
Confident to communicate with people from various backgrounds. Awareness of social etiquette, correct form of address /letter writing, all part of this role.
Ability to carry out research, follow projects, run errands, and liaise closely with domestic staff.
Must be well mannered, well presented and most of all not afraid to ask for help from other team members.
Strong IT Skills are essential to this role, experienced with the use of MAC products and particularly skills with calendar management.
Salary circa £70,000-£75,000 depending on experience. Enhanced DBS Check, checkable first-class references and strictly Non Smoker essential to this role. (HU3760)
