RESIDENTIAL HOUSEKEEPER - DOG CARER
NORTH YORKSHIRE
Rural location between Ripon & Harrogate
35-40 hrs per week - 5days
Essential Requirements: Previous Private House Housekeeping Experience, Genuine Dog lover, capable to have sole charge of 2 dogs when owners travel. Friendly, flexible and security aware. Driver with clean licence essential.

A newly created position to work for a couple with adult children who visit occasionally. The property is in an attractive rural location, farmhouse in type within 20 acres.

The owners travel frequently so essential that you love countryside living and are confident to care for the families 2 dogs, which will include 3 walks per day. During the owner’s absence the dogs take priority.

We are looking for a candidate ideally with previous private house experience who has “a can do” attitude with attention to detail, who is proactive discreet, efficient and capable of sole charge of the property when required.

  • Daily housekeeping duties to include cleaning, washing and ironing.
  • Making beds and changing linens.
  • Care and walking of 2 well behaved medium size dogs, includes total care during the owner’s absence.
  • Day to day house management – supervision of contractors, deliveries, arranging repairs etc
  • Light family cooking
  • Shopping, provisioning, running errands.
  • Controlling housekeeping supplies
  • Overall security during the owner’s absence.

Salary between £30-35,000 Gross - Negotiable depending on previous experience. 2 Bedroom cottage with small garden provided, which includes WiFi and an allowance for oil and electricity. Car for work use is available if required. 2 days off per week. Partner to follow own occupation and one well behaved pet considered. (HU4065)
