Essential Requirements – Previous Experience working as a housekeeper in a family home.

Good standard of laundry skills and light family cooking. Good communication skills. Self-sufficient. Pro active with a happy, friendly disposition and ability to stay in the house if the owners are away. Dog & Cat friendly. Strictly Non Smoker.

Long term position for an experienced family housekeeper. This is a family of five which includes 2 adult children and a teenager at boarding school. The family have a small very friendly sweet dog which you will need to walk and an elderly cat.

The residence is 10 minutes’ walk from Hammersmith Tube station, a large family home with 6 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms with an annex where the eldest daughter lives. You will be responsible for cleaning, washing and ironing, making and changing beds and arranging dry cleaning and running errands.

Ideally you will have simple cooking skills, be able to assist Madam with food preparation, light fresh family meals for between 2-4 people. Ability to prepare fresh dishes occasionally is a big plus.

The principals travel both on business and during holidays, on these occasions you will be required to live in the house.

Flexibility, a happy disposition and being part of the family for the long term is essential.

Most important is a happy, flexible, energetic person, who takes pride in their work, with a good level of English looking for a long-term position.

SALARY £45-50,000 Gross per annum depending on previous experience– 2 days off per week. Driver not required. Non-smoker essential. (HU4185)
