Job Summary: The principle with his three dogs and adult children is looking for an experienced professional friendly dedicated housekeeper. The home is a large 5-bedroom home with outdoor pool. The three dogs are very much part of the family and dog sitting would be required on occasion where you would need to stay at the home which would be compensated extra.
Due to the location a driver is essential, the family also employ a full-time Estate manager and a Gardener. In addition, there are also weekly cleaners twice a week to take care of the deep cleaning. The ideal hours would be 9-5 but the principle is happy to discuss some flexibility to find the right person.
General duties:
House management to include the daily housekeeping function of the home, to include day to day cleaning, tidying -laundry and ironing.
Fresh healthy cooking for the principle and sons as needed – light lunches and dinners (batch cooking for the freezer, dinners that can be reheated)
Shopping and local errands as needed, keeping the fridge stocked.
Dog sitting when required for additional pay.
General organisation – seasonal rotation - decorations etc
Making the beds, changing linens as required
Wardrobe management.
Out house/gym management
Packing and unpacking suitcases – the principal travels making sure he has what he needs.
Taking in deliveries, answering the phone/door

Experienced housekeeper required for a large family home in Gibraltar. The family of 5 includes 3 school age children ( 13, 10 & 8 yrs). This is a vibrant family with very active and busy lifestyles. The role involves daily preparation and cooking of fresh family dishes and day to day housekeeping.
The family also have a small dog.
The ideal candidate will be a fluent English Speaker with Spanish a big plus. You should be confident in the kitchen, have strong cooking abilities, experience with children’s laundry and agreeable to assist with light household housekeeping duties. The role requires a well organised, nurturing person able to engage with the children on a daily basis.
Duties will include
Preparing breakfast and ensuring the children are dressed and ready for school in their uniforms.
Preparing light lunches and evening meal for the family, freshly prepared healthy dishes.
Day to day housekeeping, working alongside another Housekeeper.
Managing children’s wardrobes, laundry and school uniforms.
Occasional assistance with school run and after school activities.
Weekly working hours
Monday 5.30pm to 9pm
Tuesday to Thursday 7am to 11am and 5.30pm to 9pm
Friday 7am to 11am
Weekends are days off.
This is a permanent long-term position.

Large Country Estate in Southern Ireland requires a hands-on senior housekeeper with the ability to assist with food preparation and light cooking for the family of 4 when they are in residence between September and January. The property is a large estate, part residence home to Overseas principals and their adult children.

This is a “hands on” head housekeeper role, which will include all day to day hands on housekeeping duties, whilst running and maintaining the house to the highest standards. Leading the housekeeping function from the front, working with the team and managing at the same time.
Duties will include but not limited too:
Working closely with resident Estate Manager and a part time housekeeper.
Laundry -washing & ironing and care of delicate fabrics.
Care of fine fabrics, Antiques and special finishes.
Feeding and exercising pets, arranging veterinary appointments etc.
Supervision of external suppliers, organisation of contractors and monitoring of external providers.
Liaison with Housekeeping team in other properties.
Menu planning, preparation and service of breakfast, lunch and dinner when the family are in residence, although a travelling butler will usually accompany the family.
Kitchen assistance to the family if required who enjoy cooking themselves.
Grocery shopping, provisioning and stock control.
Self contained accommodation locally will be provided.
