CONTENT DEVELOPMENT PARTNER WITHIN HOME OFFICE
PALM BEACH, FLORIDA
Job Reference: HU4446
Salary: $140,000 depending on experience
Essential Requirements: Ideally 7 years professional experience in writing and editing. Journalism, communications, publishing, editorial, content development, speechwriting experience, availability to travel, exceptional discretion and confidentiality.
Our private client based in Palm Beach is seeking an exceptional writer, editor and creative thought partner to work directly with the Principal as she develops her personal voice, identity and mission-driven platform.
This is not a traditional content or social media role. The successful candidate will help the Principal turn her thoughts, experiences and ideas into authentic, meaningful content that reflects who she is and what she stands for.
The ideal person is an outstanding writer who is equally skilled at listening, interpreting, editing and shaping ideas—someone who can hear an hour of conversation and identify the few ideas that truly matter.
Key Responsibilities
· Work directly with the Principal to develop and articulate her voice, ideas and message.
· Listen to and capture conversations, experiences and streams of consciousness into compelling content.
· Write and edit essays, articles, newsletters, speeches, talking points, social content and long-form material.
· Support future book, publishing and thought-leadership projects.
· Prepare content for podcasts, interviews, speaking engagements and media opportunities.
· Research relevant topics, stories and supporting material.
· Develop and manage an editorial calendar and longer-term content strategy.
· Repurpose core ideas across different platforms while maintaining authenticity and avoiding dilution.
· Help determine which ideas are ready to develop and which require further thought.
· Edit content produced by other creative partners and maintain a consistent Principal voice.
· Collaborate with the Chief of Staff, family office, creative team and external partners to bring ideas to life.
The Principal is thoughtful, humble, grounded and spiritually minded. She is looking for someone she can trust and feel comfortable thinking out loud with. The successful candidate will know when to listen, ask thoughtful questions and understand the meaning beneath an initial thought.
The role requires gentleness, emotional intelligence and confidence in equal measure. Most importantly, the candidate must understand that the Principal's story and voice belong to her. The role is to help uncover and express that voice.
Our client is deeply mission-driven. She has a genuine desire to help others, give back to the community, and use her platform to make a positive impact on people's lives, with a particular passion for supporting and empowering women..
Preferred qualifications:
· 7+ years of progressive professional experience.
· Bachelor’s degree in journalism, Communications, English, Creative Writing or related field preferred.
· Experience supporting an author, founder, executive, public figure or thought leader highly desirable.
· Demonstrable portfolio of exceptional professional writing.
· Strong editorial and research capabilities.
· Excellent references.
· Ability to successfully complete an extensive background check.
This position offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of writing, editorial strategy, personal storytelling and purpose-driven impact. The family office already has experienced creative, operational and executive resources in place. The Content Development Partner can therefore focus on the areas where their expertise is most valuable: Listening. Thinking. Writing. Editing. Shaping the message. Protecting the voice.
This is a hybrid position; however, meaningful in-person time with the Principal will be essential. Candidates should ideally be located in or willing to relocate to the Palm Beach/South Florida area. Some travel may be required as the Principal's projects, speaking opportunities, and platform continue to evolve. Salary: $140,000 depending on experience, medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), two weeks paid leave and national holidays. (HU4446)
