RESIDENTIAL HOUSEKEEPER with TRAVEL

Essential Requirements:  Previous UHNW Private House Experience, Flexibility and freedom to Travel, Good Team Player. Attention to detail. Minimum of 10 yrs housekeeping experience required with longevity in previous positions. 

Experienced, flexible housekeeper who enjoys travelling is required for long term clients who travel between multiple homes throughout the year.  The mature couple have an immaculate penthouse apartment in London where they spend a total of approx. 4 months of the year. 

A Household Manager who drives and cares for the property is also employed at the London residence and has also been in post for many years. 

This vacancy requires a candidate who is happy to travel and work at their property in South of France with trips to Italy during the summer months. When working at the large property in France you will join the household team and so a good team player is essential. You will also travel to Miami USA with the principals for approx. 5/6 weeks twice per year. 

Duties are mainly housekeeping, you must have excellent cleaning skills with attention to detail, be able to care for the bed linen and towels and care for the wardrobes. Washing and ironing of shirts and cleaning shoes etc. This is a traditional and semi formal household, with long term clients who really look after their staff. 

You may be asked to run errands and occasionally assist the chef with kitchen prep. Ideally you will have previous table service experience.  You will prepare a simple breakfast when the principals are in residence and reheat dishes pre prepared by the Chef on his day off. 

The working day is usually 9-2pm then again 6-9pm, five and half days per week. The current housekeeper will retire in approx. 12 months’ time, so a long handover period will be arranged. 

You must be very well presented, have fluent English and be available and free to travel. Strictly Non-Smoker essential. Excellent checkable references and DBS Check are essential to this role. 

Salary negotiable depending on experience, accommodation of own bedroom and ensuite bathroom in all locations. (HU2863)
