DAILY HOUSEKEEPER/LAUNDRESS

Salary: £50,000 Goss per annum

Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm with one evening per week until 9pm.

Essential Requirements: Eager to learn with a can-do attitude. First class housekeeping and laundry experience. Immaculate personal presentation and fluent English. Strong team player. Previous experience in UHNW residence, yachting or Boutique Hotel essential. 

A flexible housekeeper/laundress is required to join an established small team in a glorious formal home in Belgravia. This is a part time residence of long-term discerning clients, attention to detail is paramount. 

The ideal candidate will be immaculately presented, hard-working, and a self-starter. You will be required to work with other long-term housekeeping staff, ensuring that work is carried out to the highest standards, and undertaking all housekeeping duties including cleaning, washing, and ironing, opening up the house in the morning, answering telephone calls, assisting with flower arranging ( training provided) and turning down of beds in the evening and assisting the lady of the house when she is in residence.

You may occasionally be asked to prepare breakfast, a light lunch or snacks usually during the butler’s absence.

 Strong attention to detail and positive approach to work are essential. 

You need to be dog friendly as occasionally you may be asked to walk the 2 small dogs. 

Working hours approx. 40hrs per week 8am to 5pm with one late evening per week when the principal is in residence. Full staff employed, so essential that you are good team player. 

Salary circa £50,000 Goss per annum, based on experience.
