Hours: 5 days per week 12pm - 8:30pm (negotiable)

We are seeking an exceptional, pro-active, experienced, and discreet Housekeeper/Nanny to join a highly respected private household. This is a long-term opportunity to work in a beautifully maintained family home for Principal’s who value meticulous attention to detail, professionalism, and a calm, polished presence.

The family of four includes 2 children ages 4yrs and 1 yr, plus grandmother and another family member who are also resident in the property.

The Housekeeper will maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation, with additional duties including laundry, assistance with preparation of family meals and household responsibilities such as greeting guests and serving refreshments. Housekeeping role approx. 70% - childcare 30%

Key Responsibilities

Housekeeping:

• Upkeep of all interiors to a high standard

• Laundry, ironing, and wardrobe management, including care for delicate fabrics

• Household organisation, stock management, and occasional errands

• Assisting the lady of the house with cooking, preparation of ingredients for family meals.

• Liaising with other staff ( driver and a weekly cleaner) security team and contractors

Childcare:

Working closely with the mother bringing up the children with traditional values, ensuring polite, well-mannered children with good table manners, being kind but firm and teaching them right from wrong. Baby sitting will be required depending on the families’ activities, occasionally you may be asked to join them. A qualified nanny is not required, but previous experience with pre-school age children essential.

The Ideal Candidate

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in similar HNW households

• Exceptional attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

• Discreet, trustworthy, and with ability to work alongside the lady of the household

• Must hold a valid UK driving licence and have own car for daily commute

Schedule & Benefits

• Full-time, average 45 hours per week (typical schedule Mon-Fri 12 md to 8.30pm, with flexibility on babysitting or weekend working when required)

• Salary: Between £50,000 - £55,000 Gross per annum (negotiable)
