Salary: £55,000 Gross, negotiable depending on previous experience

Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am - 6pm

Essential Requirements: Previous long term UHNW private house experience, with longevity in similar previous position. Good standard of fresh family cooking. Previous experience in housekeeping duties including laundry, care of fine fabrics and wardrobe management. Service orientated with exacting standards and attention to detail. Good team player. Good communication and basic computer skills. Non-smoker essential.

New vacancy for an experienced forward thinking, dedicated housekeeper with previous experience working in a formal household.

Family of five which includes teenage children. This is a very busy family household, with a long-term team of staff which includes Chief of staff, House Manager, 2 PA’s and 2 housekeepers, so you will work together with daily household duties which will include, high end cleaning, washing and ironing, bed turn down and tidying of bathrooms in the evenings. Previous experience in the care of fine clothes, steaming, pressing and wardrobe management is essential

You will be required to cook occasionally and on an ad hoc basis, simple fresh family style dishes. This is not a position for a chef, but a confident home cook who enjoys following recipes and cooking from fresh quality ingredients.

Kitchen hygiene, care of fridges and freezers, stocked with fresh produce, ensuring sell by dates and rotation of fresh foods are checked.

You will assist in the day to day house management of this large residence, which will include Grocery shopping both in store and online, keeping inventory of household and cleaning products, running errands such as posting letters or collecting items, receive and organise deliveries and coordinate with vendors, contractors, and service providers.

A degree of flexibility is required, including potential for occasional weekend work (with time off in lieu given in following working week), weekend housesitting or locking up (with prior notice) Tasks may vary seasonally depending on household requirements.

Salary £55,000 Gross, negotiable depending on previous experience. Strictly Non-Smoker, driving licence preferred. ASAP Start (HU4466)
