Salary: €3,000–€3,500 net per month depending on experience.

Essential Requirements: Previous experience working in a part residence private household. High standards of housekeeping and presentation. Proactive, naturally organised, attention to detail and who takes pride in creating a beautifully maintained and welcoming home.

A genuine love of dogs is essential as the family have two large dogs which are a very important part of the family. Driver preferred but not essential. This is a long-term position. Good team player is essential. Basic French helpful.

The villa has been completely refurbished to a very high standard and is primarily the summer residence of a family and their guests, usually in residence between May and September. A chef is employed during the season, and seasonal support staff are also employed during peak periods when the household is very busy.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Housekeeping

•  Maintain the property to an excellent standard of cleanliness and presentation

•  Daily cleaning and tidying of all areas of the home

•  Bedrooms, bathrooms, living areas and communal spaces

•  Laundry, ironing and wardrobe care as required

•  Ensure the house is always neat, organised and beautifully presented

•  Take initiative in identifying and completing household tasks

Dog Care

•  Walk the two large but very friendly Dogs three times daily

•  Provide attentive and loving day-to-day care

•  Ensure the dogs have fresh water and are comfortable and well exercised

•  Be confident and comfortable handling large dogs

Kitchen and Household Assistance

•  Prepare beverages when required

•  Keep the kitchen clean, tidy and well organised. General assistance to the chef as required when in residence.

•  Ensure the fridge and freezer are consistently stocked

•  Monitor household provisions and advise the House manager when supplies need replenishing

•  Assist with occasional household errands and other reasonable household duties as required.

Salary 3,000-3500 Euro’s net per month depending on experience. Accommodation provided – air-conditioned double bedroom, private bathroom and kitchenette. 2 days off out of season, flexibility is required in season. (HU4451)
