RUSSIAN SPEAKING ROTA CHEF

Salary: £75,000–£100,000 depending on experience.
Hours: 9.00am–5.30pm with the rota being one week on / one week off.
Essential Requirements: Previous private Chef experience, availability to travel, cat friendly, kosher kitchen experience.
A long-standing private client is looking for an experienced family chef to work on a week-on, week-off rota. The house is based in Holland Park. From July to August the family stay in Monaco and December and January in the Caribbean. Must have experience maintaining a kosher kitchen.
You will prepare lunch and dinner for three adults and a 2.5-year-old, plus daily purées for an 8-month-old. The cooking is simple by design including steamed and grilled meat and fish, vegetables and fruit plates, with no salt and no sugar. What is important is making the food flavourful. The adults and children eat the same meals.
You will travel on rotation with a second chef. Flexibility is required when the family is abroad, and Christmas is worked in alternate years.
This is not a role for anyone seeking à la carte or Michelin-standard cuisine.
Essential Requirements:
Fluent Russian and strong English
Private-household experience
Experience maintaining a kosher kitchen
Confidence with baby purées and toddler meals
Genuine comfort with a rota and international travel
Recent DBS and checkable references
This is a very respectful family, and you will be treated very well. There are two cats in residence who are very much part for the family so an animal lover is a must.
