FAMILY ASSISTANT/BUTLER

Essential Requirements: Previous private house experience, EU Passport, previous experience working in the Middle East. fluent English, Arabic speaker would be a bonus.
An international couple who currently live in UAE, with plans to relocate to Europe in the future are looking for an experienced Butler/Family Assistant. The family value comfort, precision, and discretion. The family have a small dog so a pet lover is essential.

A team player is essential as you will be working alongside a team of two live-in housekeepers, and two chauffeurs. This is a long-term role for a professional who is hands-on. The role will evolve over time—from initial household operations and systems development to a more executive-level Family Assistant position with a strong focus on planning, coordination, and administrative support.

Key Responsibilities:

Household Management & Systems Creation

·       Develop and maintain a comprehensive Butler Book (house manual) for staff procedures

·       Supervise and support the household team

·       Establish and streamline in-house systems for optimal daily operations

·       Manage sourcing and stock of groceries, household supplies, and essentials

·       Oversee laundry and wardrobe care; ensure proper garment handling and return

·       Maintain a serene, elegant, hotel-level environment throughout the home 

Executive Family Assistant Duties

·       Manage the family calendar, appointments, and reminders

·       Coordinate international and domestic travel, including pet logistics

·       Handle administrative tasks such as visa applications and official documents

·       Plan and coordinate small-scale in-home events (e.g., catering, décor, cake)

·       Maintain structured expense and budget tracking via Excel

·       Liaise with service providers, vendors, and household-related contacts
