SENIOR HOUSEKEEPER/LAUNDRESS

Live out position – Monday to Friday with flexibility for occasional weekend and holiday working.

Essential Requirements: Flexibility, excellent spoken English. Previous experience in UHNW Private residence, boutique/5*hotel or yachting. Great attention to detail, good communication skills. Previous experience of working within a team, be professional in appearance, experienced with smart home technology and have a positive proactive manner. 

An experienced, flexible Senior Housekeeper is required for a large, fully staffed residence in Central Paris.  The housekeeper will be required to ensure the safe keeping and smooth running of a private family's residence as part of a small team.

Under the direction of the House Manager, the housekeeper is responsible for the cleanliness and upkeep of the residence.

·       Responsible for the day-to-day cleanliness and upkeep of the residence, performing all housekeeping duties including routine daily tasks.

·       Cleaning of antiques, fine china, silverware and other delicate items in the household. This includes laundry, windows, floor treatments, dusting, polishing, vacuuming, care of upholstery, fabric, glass, leather, etc., and careful attention to the cleaning of antiques.

·       Service all areas regularly, preparation of cleaning schedules to include regular deep cleaning of bathrooms/kitchens and details such as preventing lime scale build up and running taps regularly to keep water pipes fresh etc.

·       Laundering of clothing, fine household linens, ironing to a very high standard including fine linens and care of upholstery fabrics. Arrange and monitor dry cleaning.

·       Organise and maintain inventories, various cleaning supplies, and household stock. Shopping for personal items, household supplies and occasional groceries.

·       Assist at parties and events at the property.

·       Liaise with the house manager regarding any/all maintenance issue relating to the property.

·       Maintain housekeeping equipment and tools, arranging appliance repairs and maintenance, obtaining estimates of work and liaison with external contractors.

·       Familiarise yourself and become confident with fire systems/alarm systems and AV systems etc. 

SALARY between 20-25 Euros per hour depending on experience – 13-month salary with additional benefits. Average 35-40 hrs per week with flexibility. ASAP Start. (HU4364)
