DAILY PET NANNY/HOUSE PERSON

Essential Requirements: Previous private pet nanny experience, willing to travel, EU or UK passport, fluent English, team player, flexible. 

Our client is seeking an experienced pet nanny/house-person for their large Grade II listed family home in Kensington. You will need to have extensive knowledge in Canine care and training. The family currently have Five dogs, a cat, three rabbits and a tortoise that you will care for at the property. We are seeking an organised individual who takes pride in their position, is willing to go the extra mile when needed and has an eye for detail.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

·       Must be comfortable working around children.

·       Management of daily feeding and medication, including the ordering of food, treats and supplies.

·       Multiple walks for the dogs, caring for their individual needs.

·       Upkeep and cleaning of pet areas, litter trays and enclosure standards and circulating throughout the property and outside throughout the day.

·       Trip planning and packing/unpacking for the principals’ pets, travel document management.

·       Day to day Grooming and cleaning of the animals and organisation of the professional grooming services in use.

·       Arranging all Veterinary appointments, vaccinations, medication, and travel certification.

·       Continuation of the training, pet manuals, all documentation, and weekly updates on the pets.

·       Responsible for training all household team members assisting in the care of the animals covering your time off.

·       Pet Kennels organisation, including arranging collection and drop-off.

·       Light housekeeping duties in pet areas and back of house and assisting the garden team in the external areas.

·       Responding to any other ad hoc duties as required by the family – a high level of amenability and flexibility is required. 

You will be working 5 days on and two days off, shifts cover 7 days per week and usually between 7.30am to 6pm with flexibility and be adaptable to change.  Travel is required so a UK or EU passport is essential. Salary £40,000 per annum. (HU4357)
