New position for an experienced private chef to join a luxury villa in Roquebrune Cap Martin. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and adaptable chef who enjoys working in a dynamic private household and can confidently manage last-minute changes while maintaining the highest culinary and hygiene standards.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality, tailored meals for a family of five, who occasionally host up to five guests, within a fully staffed household of 12. You will work alongside another chef on a rotation of three to four days per week, in a large, semi-professionally equipped kitchen. A strong background in a variety of cuisines is required, including French, Japanese, Asiatic, Italian, European, Indian, and vegetarian dishes, with Russian cuisine considered an advantage.
Key responsibilities include
· Liaising with the family to understand their preferences, dietary requirements, and allergies; creating bespoke meal plans
· Sourcing and purchasing high-quality ingredients and kitchen supplies
· Inspecting produce to ensure excellent standards
· Preparing meals in line with food health and safety regulations
· Maintaining a clean, organised, and hygienic kitchen environment at all times
