ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: Previous private house, and or high-level yacht experience, ideally Michelin level experience within career.  Flexibility to travel, Strong knowledge of Italian cuisine.  Preferably with STCW and ENG1.   

A unique and exciting opportunity for a highly experienced and exceptionally talented chef of Italian Cuisine to Join a distinguished yacht and private household, catering to discerning clients and their guests.

This role requires extreme flexibility, as the successful candidate will travel extensively, spending approximately six months of the year abroad, including approximately a 6 month season on board a luxury motor yacht.

We seek a chef with a deep appreciation for fresh, seasonal produce and a natural  flair for Mediterranean cuisine, particularly Italian, alongside expertise in French gastronomy. With ideally a background in Michelin-starred establishments.  You will bring a refined approach to culinary excellence, ensuring that every meal is crafted and presented to the highest standard.

You will be responsible for delivering culinary excellence by preparing world-class meals tailored to the client’s exacting standards, with a strong focus on Mediterranean, French, and English cuisine. Additionally, you will be required to design and execute seasonal, balanced, and creative menus that showcase the best seasonal ingredients available. In addition, you will be required to procure the finest ingredients globally, always ensuring freshness and quality.

Given the dynamic lifestyle of the clients, flexibility and adaptability are crucial. The role also requires the seamless management of both intimate family meals and large-scale formal gatherings. Furthermore, you must uphold impeccable standards of hygiene, organisation, and efficiency in the kitchen always.

It is essential that you have a background within Michelin-starred restaurants or previous high level yacht or private house experience, exceptional knowledge of Mediterranean cuisine, with a refined understanding of Italian cuisine, proven ability to work autonomously while adapting to varying schedules, and the willingness to travel for extended periods.
