An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled Electro-Technical Officer (ETO) Technician to join a private family office supporting a globally mobile lifestyle.

This is a hands-on, service-driven role responsible for the seamless operation of all electrical, automation, and integrated technology systems across a portfolio of luxury residences and mobile assets. The position requires a proactive and detail-oriented professional who takes pride in delivering consistently high standards in a discreet, fast-paced environment. This is a full-time position with a structured on-call rota, with regular travel required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of all electrical systems, including power distribution, backup systems, and resilience planning

  • Oversee and optimise smart home and automation platforms (e.g. Crestron, Lutron, KNX)

  • Maintain secure and reliable IT and network infrastructure across all locations

  • Manage security and surveillance systems, ensuring consistent performance

  • Coordinate technical operations across residential, marine, and aviation environments as required

  • Lead vendor relationships, system enhancements, and new installations

  • Proactively monitor, maintain, and refine systems to ensure optimal performance

  • Maintain accurate technical documentation and system records

Candidates must have proven experience within private households, superyachts, private aviation, or similarly high-standard environments, strong technical expertise across electrical, AV, and IT systems, and demonstrated experience supporting complex, multi-location operations.

Candidates must be highly professional with a strong sense of responsibility and ownership, discreet, with a clear understanding of privacy and confidentiality, calm and adaptable in dynamic environments, detail-focussed with the ability to anticipate needs and respond proactively.
