An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled Electro-Technical Officer (ETO) Technician to join a private family office supporting a globally mobile lifestyle.
This is a hands-on, service-driven role responsible for the seamless operation of all electrical, automation, and integrated technology systems across a portfolio of luxury residences and mobile assets. The position requires a proactive and detail-oriented professional who takes pride in delivering consistently high standards in a discreet, fast-paced environment. This is a full-time position with a structured on-call rota, with regular travel required.
Key Responsibilities
Take ownership of all electrical systems, including power distribution, backup systems, and resilience planning
Oversee and optimise smart home and automation platforms (e.g. Crestron, Lutron, KNX)
Maintain secure and reliable IT and network infrastructure across all locations
Manage security and surveillance systems, ensuring consistent performance
Coordinate technical operations across residential, marine, and aviation environments as required
Lead vendor relationships, system enhancements, and new installations
Proactively monitor, maintain, and refine systems to ensure optimal performance
Maintain accurate technical documentation and system records
Candidates must have proven experience within private households, superyachts, private aviation, or similarly high-standard environments, strong technical expertise across electrical, AV, and IT systems, and demonstrated experience supporting complex, multi-location operations.
Candidates must be highly professional with a strong sense of responsibility and ownership, discreet, with a clear understanding of privacy and confidentiality, calm and adaptable in dynamic environments, detail-focussed with the ability to anticipate needs and respond proactively.
