Essential Requirements: Previous Butler experience in a private household or luxury hotel, fluent English, flexibility, strong leadership skills. 

An experienced Head Butler is required for a private family based in Kurdistan, Iraq. You will be responsible for ensuring a seamless daily service, front of house and coordinating with back of house teams including Butlers, Head Housekeeper, Chef and Security Teams. 

 KEY RESPONSIBILITES: 

·       Oversee all aspects of formal and informal service: table settings, meal service, beverage and bar service, tea/coffee, and guest hosting.

·       Set and maintain service standards, SOPs and checklists, adjusting them once the family’s preferences and lifestyle patterns are clear.

·       Coordinate with kitchen on timing, special dietary needs, buffets and events; coordinate with housekeeping for room readiness and turn-downs.

·       Manage household inventory related to service: tableware, sliver, glassware, linens, bar stock and amenity items.

·       Lead butler team scheduling, training (including cross-training in basic housekeeping tasks and guest-area checks) and performance.

·       Assist with vendor and external contractor coordination on event days (florist, event planners, etc.) 

Previous experience working as a Head Butler in private households or luxury hotels is essential. Strong leadership and impeccable etiquette and discretion. Fluent in English, Arabic speaker would be an advantage. Accommodation provided, medical insurance and return flight home is provided. 6-day working week, working hours will be 8-10 hours per day with flexibility. Salary circa $90,000 per annum. (HU4399)
