We’re looking for an exceptional rotational private chef to support an ultra-high-net-worth individual (UHNWI) across multiple residences throughout the United States. This is a dynamic, fast-paced role requiring absolute flexibility, discretion, and a willingness to travel at short notice. The principal is typically dining alone but does entertain on occasion, so the ideal candidate will be equally comfortable executing refined, restaurant-quality meals for one as well as delivering elevated dining experiences for guests.
The culinary style should reflect a strong international repertoire, with particular emphasis on Mexican, Asian, Indian, Chinese, European, Italian, cuisines alongside a focus on healthy, well-balanced dishes using fresh, seasonal, and organic ingredients. The day-to-day concept leans toward a “ghost kitchen” approach—working quietly and efficiently behind the scenes to prepare high-quality, ready-to-eat meals. These should be thoughtfully portioned, clearly labelled, and stored for convenience, ensuring the principal has seamless access to nutritious and appealing food at all times. When the principal is entertaining, the chef will transition to a more visible role, delivering beautifully presented, restaurant-standard dishes with attention to detail and service.
This position operates on a rotational schedule alongside other chefs, requiring strong teamwork, adaptability, and excellent communication to ensure consistency of standards. Candidates must be highly organised and capable of managing the kitchen independently, maintaining impeccable hygiene and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
· Prepare daily meals tailored to the principal’s preferences, focusing on health-conscious, flavourful cuisine
· Execute a wide range of international dishes, including Mexican, Asian, Indian, and Chinese specialties
· Operate in a discreet, “back-of-house” manner when required, ensuring minimal disruption to the principal’s privacy
· Plan, shop, and provision using high-quality, seasonal, and organic ingredients
· Label, store, and manage prepared meals to a consistently high standard
· Oversee full kitchen management, including budgeting, inventory control, and supplier relationships
· Deliver exceptional dining experiences for private events and dinner parties, with refined presentation
· Travel frequently across multiple U.S. locations and adapt quickly to new kitchens and environments
· Collaborate effectively with other rotational chefs to maintain continuity and standards
