An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and highly organised Property / Estate Manager to oversee a portfolio of luxury residential properties across the UK and internationally. This is a newly created position for a proactive, hands-on individual who thrives in a dynamic private environment and takes pride in maintaining properties to an exceptional standard.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management, maintenance, and operational oversight of multiple high-end homes. The role requires someone who is practical, solutions-focused, and willing to take a hands-on approach when required to ensure all properties run smoothly.

The portfolio includes eight UK properties four in London as well as residences in USA, Europe and the Middle East. Some properties are privately used while others are let, and several already have domestic staff in place.

This position will suit an individual with excellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple properties across different locations, while maintaining the highest standards at all times. Regular international travel will be required.

Key Responsibilities

Property Management

• Oversee the day-to-day running of all properties, ensuring they are maintained in pristine condition at all times.

• Conduct regular inspections, identifying and resolving maintenance issues proactively.

• Coordinate and manage planned and reactive maintenance across the portfolio.

• Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and local property regulations in each jurisdiction.

• Source, vet and manage a trusted network of contractors, suppliers and service providers across all locations.

Staff & Household Coordination

• Recruit and organise cleaning staff and domestic support across the properties.

• Manage existing housekeepers, cleaners, grounds staff and security teams where applicable.

• Assist with organisation of household contents, including wardrobes and personal belongings where required.

• Manage mail and correspondence relating to the properties.

• Source and purchase furniture, household items and furnishings, ensuring they meet the required standard and aesthetic.

Financial & Administrative Management

• Manage property budgets, monitor expenditure and provide clear financial reporting.

• Oversee utilities, insurance policies and service contracts.

• Maintain accurate records including maintenance schedules, compliance documentation and property inventories.

Portfolio Coordination

• Act as the central point of contact for property-related matters across multiple locations and time zones.

• Liaise with agents, tenants, contractors and service providers.

• Oversee tenanted properties, ensuring they are professionally maintained and managed.

Hands-On Support

This is a hands-on role requiring a flexible and proactive individual who is willing to assist with practical tasks when required, such as:

• Preparing properties ahead of arrivals

• Organising household spaces

• Assisting with ad-hoc tasks to ensure properties are fully operational and guest-ready

Candidates must have proven experience managing high-end residential properties or estates, ideally across multiple locations, experience working within private households, estates or family office environments, strong knowledge of property maintenance, contractor management, experience recruiting and managing domestic staff. In addition, we require a candidate who has excellent organisational and project management skills along with a high level of discretion and flexibility. A hands-on, proactive attitude with a “no task too small” approach. Salary negotiable based on experience, circa £80,000. (HU4387)
