A private family living in Casatenovo, located near Milan, require an outstanding Private Chef to become a valued member of their household. This is an exceptional role for a skilled and imaginative chef who thrives in a private setting and is passionate about providing exquisite meals each day - from wholesome breakfasts and thoughtfully prepared lunches for the children, to sophisticated evening dinners and special occasions when entertaining guests.
The chef will cater to a family of eight and will be entrusted with total responsibility of the kitchen. Key tasks include designing menus, handling food sourcing and inventory, and creating dishes that are both innovative and aligned with the family's health-focused preferences. The family emphasizes nutritious eating, showing particular interest in keto, anti-inflammatory, vegetarian, and Japanese cuisine, making versatility in culinary skills essential.
Daily responsibilities involve preparing breakfast for all family members, crafting healthy and enticing packed lunches for the children, and serving delicious family-style dinners each evening. For events and gatherings, you will lead the planning and execution of formal menus, so experience with elegant table service is important. You will collaborate with other household staff and keep the kitchen spotless and efficiently managed at all times.
You will be required to have extensive experience working as a Private Chef in prestigious households or luxury hospitality. Expertise in a wide range of cuisines, with a particular focus on keto, anti-inflammatory, plant based, vegetarian, and Japanese specialties. Confidence in designing diverse menus and accommodating dietary needs. Impeccable discretion, professionalism and flexibility for occasional late night functions and international travel.
The chosen candidate will have the option of private accommodation, either an apartment a 35-minute drive from the residence (requiring personal transportation) or a private room with an en-suite in a staff house. The role offers a competitive gross annual salary between €80,000 and €100,000, reflecting the seniority and expectations of the position. Fluent English and knowledge of Italian would be highly desirable. Driving licence is highly preferred due to the location. (HU4407)
